Here we are again. Since it is the middle of our wedding season, keeping our blog updated becomes more challenging. But before the second half of the season starts we would like to keep telling you all the details of the weddings we create.

Actually, this past weekend we had the chance to visit Corinto, a small local village with beautiful beaches, smiley inhabitants and an impressive sunset you shouldn’t miss. Exactly there is where today’s couple story begun.

Bego and Victor got in touch with us to decorate their wedding. With no hesitation we started to work right away!

Celebration took place in Mas d’Alzedo. Bego and Victor wanted to take care of all the details, even the tiniest ones and chose colorful and cheerful tones that differentiated from the stone colors of the venue.

“Marsala”, as in the Sicilian city, was our choice for the main color. We combined it with colors like mauve, pinks and green… Say hello to spring!

We highlighted the flower decoration for the cocktail’s buffet. Even the waiters wore matching aprons with the patterned table linen we chose for the main hall.

We envisioned a clean and well taken care of seating plan with a wooden back and glass frames hung by velvet laces in dusty colors.

Few steps further led you to a stunning view. The entry point to the main hall where the lunch took place: A tiny bulbs curtain decorated the back wall behind the presidential table, certainly creating a golden shine effect throughout the entire space.

For the tables´decoration we combined high center pieces and plain table linen with low center pieces with flower linen always using the color gamut we chose for the wedding. Colored napkins, carved mauve glasses, hunging wooden structures full with green foliage accompanied the light bulb garlands. Flowers were supplied by Atelier de la Flor and the lightning was carried out by Grupo Altius.

I don`t know if i have written about the mails wich we receive everyday in Romeos y Julietas `s mail box: we feel something like a tickling, allways get butterflies in the stomach…

You could call it like you want but… there are mails wich give us different emotions, something who scream inside: ¡This is a great! ¡Lets live it!

This is the emotion of 27th december, those mail wich travel throught the wer from Shangai to Valencia.

A few days after this mail, we have the chance to have a virtual meeting with Laura and Fer. We should confess: We fall in love with them since first minute! An their wedding Project ideas… The best!

Their wedding would be so close: family and friends were about t olive an unic weekend.

Laura and Fer minded to all the details and they wanted to pomper their friends but… Laura and Fer and Romeos y Julietas were planning some surprise to the guests!

They wished a wedding near the sea, in an island.Their first option was: Ibiza. Although they don’ t dismiss another of our wonderful Balears Islands, finally Formentera was the islan where was all the wishes for this “ Destination Wedding”

We started with perfect Hotel, ferry tickets, buses… And all we nedd to celebrate a familiar wedding. But it was no so easy! It seems easy, but… isn`t it!

In Romeos y Julietas we have a theory wich says that Formenteranos are so similar with Caribeans: – Keep Calm ladies and gentleman!

We sent the invitations: it was a document casewith all the details of the weekend, friday “Meeting point”, “Dress code, Ibiza Style”, a saturday timeline and a Ferry boarding ticket with the name of each guest. In addition, there was an evelope, with the same invitation`s design, with a suitcase tag with the wedding #hastag #LaurayFer17jun17 and a quote: Keep calm and feel the weekend!!

All the guest was invited a wedding in Ibiza. Formentera was “Top Secret” until friday 16th of june at 15:00 h.

Romeos y Julietas Team arrived to Formentera the day before. We had lot of work to make… and we love t olive everything with them!

We came back to the Hotel to check with Laura and fer everything. We prepared in each room a goodie bag “Dear Formentera” the perfect kit to the weekend: sunscreen, facial mask, a guide “What to do in Formentera” wich was designed by the couple, caps-ears, eye-mask to protect the eyes of the sun, a cndle with a message, and a regret: everything wich happen in the wedding… it stays in the wedding, a mini bottle with Fiji Water, a nice ceramic minibottle with Ibiza salt, some sweets… When we said that Laura and Fer wanted that each of their guest was so confortable and pompered… it wasn’t a joke!!

To visit Blue Bar, tha place where they prepared a peck to meeting. We think that those thursday , including a bath in crystaline sea, was a super important day.

At least we could see and hug to our Laura and Fer; until the day, we have been talking throught mail, we have seeing with Facetime, we was using WeChat with cool stickers to express our emotions… But there is nothing like to feel the, face to face.

After a delicious dinner, to think some “suspiciuous idea” and to check everything we go to sleep, the next day will be so emotional.

And… Friday.

At 14:00 h left our Ferry to Ibiza with Paula G. Furió, a TOP photographer , and Micrea, videographers. All the team went to the Meeting Point with the invitees. They didn’t know what it would happen…

We arrived to the Coffee wich we have the meeting and screaming we introduced us as “Romeos y Julietas, wedding planner of Valencia”. Witch Laura and Fer we decided to make a joke to our invitees: we said that the couple want to celebrate their wedding in Ibiza but…. It was imposible! For this reason, they have to make their bagage because the ferry to Valencia was waiting for us.

Their faces was incredible! I remember Fer uncle`s saying: – I have to call my daugther! She will arrive tomorrow!! “ She has to know that she has to be in Valenciaaaaaa!”

Just a step of the ferry, we stopped the group and make a meeting:- We have two options: take the Ferry to Valencia or to Formentera. – We said.

The answer was… FORMENTERA!!!

Living the travel, finally we was in Formentera. The buses was o.k. to carry the guest to the hotel and we advertised that at 19:00 h in Blue Bar will have prepared new surprises and sensations…

It was so emotional to see how Laura and Fer statrted the meeting with their family and friends. Maybe, To live in Shangai makes that they dont feel so close with the others. It was the momento when we understand the reason way they keep going in: –We want a casual, relaxed wedding where we can enjoy of them every time… – Laura and Fer said.

Fer, on friday prepared a surprised to Laura. He was helped by Edu, Laura’s brother. Sara Escudero, a famous comedian who is family friend, arrived to Blue Bar full of art and fresh air. There was lot of laugh moments… She is a crack!

Afterward the reencounter sunrised a hottie day in the Island.We wake up early with Taller de Clo Staff, began the assembly in Geko Beach. All the lovely things wich was carried in our van from Valencia was taking form.We made an arc with clusters and feathers, wild flowers and proteas. The colours as yellow, White, pink and, in the background, turquoise blue of the sea…

In the ceremony aisel we selected cristal bottles with the same flowers of the arc and eucaliptus mixing Green and yellow limbs for the chairs.

While in the Paraíso de los Pinos, Laura and Fer begin all the final preparations. The momento is near… the guest are arriving to the ceremony and the are wearing straw hats and indian necklaces, carry from India only for them. All the woman taking paper umbrellas and bambú pai-pai. It was an oriental touch! Typical of Laura and Fer!

Only a minute…

Two priests officiated the wedding, Viera and Pelayo, brothers of Laura and Fer.

And…

The Ceremony began. What a ceremony!!!

Everyone who was in the ceremony made feel us so emotional and to know much better that lovely couple. But, their discuss, the words wich both write each other… It was so special.

Fer, we feel astonish. Believe in me, we lived lot of moments like this each weekend but, this ceremony forever will be in remember. Laura, your words was… WOW!

This is, this is Love that we understand and we are so happy to feel your love.

My favourite quote was: “ I dont want you belong to me, i love you with me”

The wedding ring holder was a big White seashell with sand who Maribel, Lauras mother, brought from her favourite beach in A Coruña.

Afterall the ceremony, who robbed us the breath, we passed to the toast. A toast with all in these wood footbridge opened to sea.

The food stands filled of colours all the party. Laura and Fer, as we have said, wanted a casual wedding and full of Little stands like a fair where all the wedding guests coul be together with they wanted. Although there was tables and chill-outs to relax, the food was served in buffets. Stands with excellent snacks and bites that Laura and Fer missed them in Shangai: Madrid stand and A Coruña stand, wich was the symbol of their natal cities, and other as Amsterdam and Shangai in representation of their past and present time.

There we seected a place to a corner with details from some of theiir travels: pockets and scarfs from Vietnam, bookmarks from Shanghai…

As well as the Photo Bus in a restiling turquoise Volkswagen van… They passed amazing moments!

With the sunset, near the swimming pool began the party wich last until midnight.

Festival lights, fritters with chocolat and high music were the perfect ingredients to say goodbye to “Dear Formentera”

To summarize this weekend… it isn’t easy.

I hope that the pics and the video make you feel a little bit what we felt then.

I can’t say goodbye without express my gatitude to all my travel comrades: El taller de Clo, Paula y Andreu, Daniel y Julián de Micrea… Thank u so much!! Marta, Gecko Beach Hotel Boss, tan u for make our visit a pleasure and work with us like if we work everyday together. Really, thanks. Wedding guests, family of “Dear Formentera”… you are incredible!. We felt like one of them, you treat us with care and effection: OLE for you!!

Laura, Fer… We dont know how say what we feel!!! Thank u for choose us, thank u for make we felt part of your Big Day, thank u because we feel loved , thank you for share with us your secrets, travels, and emotions, your honey moon….

Shanghai never give us this nearly sensation.

Paz and Dave showed up in our former office for a quick visit. Arrived on a Tuesday to tell us they wanted to get married in Valencia although they currently live in Australia and that we only had three days to check and decide on a lot of details for their wedding day. They were soon departing for Australia and won’t be back until three weeks before the celebration.

We had only three days for them to decide at least, the venue to celebrate their love day. We had to reschedule our agenda and dedicate full time so our couple could go back to Australia with the homework done.

But they didn’t just go with the venue selected, Paz also found her wedding dress from Jesús Peiró in Valencia.

The remaining things and the rest of our communications were sorted out using our best allied in these cases, Skype! Time difference was not an issue. We were starting our day while they were putting an end to theirs. As someone I know used to say, our guys were living in the future.

Using Skype is how we got introduced to Siesta, their pet that was almost always present in our meetings. But all this time we got to know not only Siesta, but also this gorgeous couple. We fell in love with them and their beautiful story.

Paz and Dave´s first date took place attending a Coldplay´s concert. That is why the soundtrack for their animated video invitation was from them. Being able to watch in this little clip a little bit of their day to day was delightful.

Something very important for them was that all three relevant cultures in their lives were present, Valencia, Ireland and Australia. The color scheme contained different tones for green, orange and yellow.

Ceremony took place in El Puig Monastery. Paz´s bouquet was breathtaking. I still fall for it every time I see it. Many thanks to Flores Vendrell for all the beautiful things they prepared for that day. Chapeau!!

Cocktail area welcomed guests with a “You are now entering Paz & Dave´s wedding” sign. A live Irish music band, a Spanish Ham carver, a Guinness corner and an Irish snacks table courtesy of Dave´s parents, were all present for the cocktail.

An Australian continent shaped silhouette over a wooden structure was used as the seating plan. Tables were named after our couple´s favorite cities. For the graphic design we used watercolor oranges with their little green leaves so we could give a little Valencian touch and match with the venue surroundings.

Tables were decorated with green leaves garlands along the table, succulent plants, proteas and oranges. Each guest had a seat assigned by an orange with his/her name on it with a little Kraft paper flag. We tried to achieve a relaxed and rustic effect using wicker place mats and green napkins. For the table numbers we designed wooden diamonds as in the famous Australian street signs, so this way we got the yellow touch according to the color scheme we chose.

Since Paz and Dave live literally thousands of kilometers away from their loved ones and they missed their birthdays, they asked us for help so they could “celebrate” in a proper way. We order individual mini birthday cakes for them to present to their loved ones creating a very emotional and unexpected moment.

During lunch we experienced a very characteristic moment in Irish weddings. The speeches. Relatives stand up and grab the mike to share special, fun, emotional words with the couple and with the rest of their guests. Broke the ice Paz´s mom embracing this tradition and making us all shed a tear or two.

Weather forecast that week indicated high probability of rain so we went ahead and installed a tent. We decided to use the tent to accommodate a chill out area and the DJ booth for DJ Agus by Grupo Altius. We decorated the area with garland lights. Finally, it turned out to be a sunny day. Our couple and their guests deserved no less. A lot of them travelled from far to be with them so there was no better gift than the sun and light of Valencia and a day of joy.

As stated earlier, Paz and Dave gave us a lot and writing these lines we realized how beautiful it all was and above all, how beautifully we felt with them. You are very far away but we feel you right here. And you know what, we are thrilled to know that in less than a year, we are going to see each other again.

I would also like to acknowledge the work that my team put on, specially the leader of the team, Marina. That day she gave everything she got so our Romeos y Julietas could enjoy fully.

We leave you in good company with Keisy and Rocky pictures. We were so looking forward to work with them, it was a great experience. We are happy to cross paths again in 2017.

They live together in Madrid, but the ceremony and celebration took place in La Clariana. A place with gorgeous surroundings we took no time in finding its potential. As soon as we set foot there, one particular area caught our attention. One path full of spectacular fir trees were calling for a leading role in our story. Although the venue had other areas specifically designed to celebrate the ceremony, we did not hesitate in voting for this new location.

Taking the love of our girls for the music, there was no doubts in the theme for the wedding.

Their invitation emulated a concert ticket, but not just any concert, this was “the concert of their lives”. This particular sentence was used to build the ceremony access in a retro illuminated structure.

Next to this structure, we put some flight cases. For those of you that don´t know, flight cases are those black boxes with metal edges that are normally used in concerts to transport speakers and sound and lights gear. These cases are usually hidden when not in use. In this particular case, we decided that they had to be present as homage to the great concert we were about to witness. We used the cases for decoration purposes and to support some guitar covers full of flower cones for the rain after the “Yes, I do”.

Green garlands and floral bouquets with a chevron marsala lace draw the path to the altar. This decoration matched perfectly with the table runners we had specifically created for this occasion.

And there it stood Rosa´s drum set. We could not go for a conventional table for the ceremony. We had the idea to use a drum set as a table for the ceremony to keep using the music theme, and we could not believe when Rosa told us she plays the drums and that she had one set, even in the color we wanted. You would not believe how happy we were when we heard the news. We had a drums set!

All the ceremony´s area was surrounded by lights curtains. We are sorry to say it ourselves, but that moment at dusk when the lights turned on was superb.

The time to start had arrived and our Julietas with their rocker style arrived to the venue on two motorcycles driven by their godfathers. This was another great moment of the evening. Guests were already in their seats when a Harley Davidson roar broke the silence. It was Rosa´s father´s Harley. She was wearing a short dress, tulle skirt, black boots and her leather jacket. We loved the moment and its style.

After a few minutes, Cristina showed up. She made a grand entrance in a spectacular red motorcycle that left the guests open-mouthed. She chose a long dress and white leather jacket.

And the ceremony begun, where lots of friends and family members had beautiful words to say. They decided to perform the sand ritual, but again, they did it their own way. Both are Ireland and Celtic music lovers and took advantage of their last visit to the island to bring back with them some Irish sand.

As a grand finale for the ceremony, white balloons took the sky as Rosa and Cristina exited the area.

After the hugs and greetings they all walked into the cocktail area where they enjoyed a nice warm-up aperitif, a Guinness beer corner and the seating plan, or better yet, “The Wall of Fame”.

We took our girl´s favorite bar in Ireland and created a wall inspired by it. We then hung on it the original covers of their favorite bands golden records that indicated in which table should each of their guest seat.

In the dining hall we placed light garlands instead of the original lights to create a warmer atmosphere. Our girls love international beers, so we decided to use several brands beer bottles as containers for our center flower bouquets.

It was a night full of surprises. Live music, confetti and Irish style gifts. No doubt Rosa and Cristina were surrounded of people willing to make that night really special.

That is exactly how Sofía and José´s story begun. On a summer, 13 years ago.

As you may already know, we consider ourselves very fortunate. Our couples are lovely and they show us in many occasions the value of true love.

Sofía and José currently live in Marbella, in the south of Spain. Sofia´s feelings towards José brought her down there.

They wanted to celebrate their wedding in Valencia, so they contacted us in order to get help to decorate their special day.

The wedding took place in Campo Aníbal. The outdoor areas still leave me speechless every time I see them. Its green wooden gates and its fuchsia bougainvillea makes it unique and special.

Sofía, a die hard romantic, chose a plumeti veil that matched the tablecloths for the dinning hall. A vintage tiara originally owned by her grandmother, and restored for the occasion, acted as a headgear. Mint was the dominant color, combined with a silver touch that matched her shoes. This combination gave us an elegant and romantic effect.

The civil ceremony took place in the same location. Joining forces with El taller de Clo´s team, we set up a clothed arch with plenty of flowers on the corners, among them, Sofía´s favourites, exuberant hydrangeas.

Everything ready and ceremony about to start, José waited patiently the bride´s arrival. He looked stunning.

While the ceremony was taking place outdoors, the dining hall was ready to welcome its guests to the fest. The crystal based centerpieces brought luminosity and a touch of elegance that defines our Romeos y Julietas. A mint painted little box containing nice words for each guest was placed in every table.

As a present for the male guests, an “army” of olive oil little bottles brought on purpose from José birth land. For the female guests, handmade little baskets made in Cadaqués with preserved flowers.

In the party area, we set up a photocall with colored pompoms and a retro illuminated word: “Love”, no question this word represents what they feel for each other.

At last, this day, we had the privilege to work alongside Paula G. Furió. We were so looking forward to share a wedding with you Paula!

These are the first words that Borja and Leyre wrote in their email or “letter to the three wise men” as they wrote on the subject of their email.

They both are uncommon people, and we realized about it as soon as we met them.

Their concept about life is not what is established and it is not conventional at all.

We had direct-line London-Spain. Our sponsor was“Skype”and it made everything so easy, it was like having them sitting in our office.

In order to understand this wedding, we need to describe the groom and the bride so you can get to know them a bit better.

Leyre is a sweetie pie; she is always smiling and excited about tiny-big things (and she doesn´t hide it). Borja is an enthusiastic about life, he has such a smart and easy humour and he is very expressive. He loves chickens (a must for their wedding). When Leyre is happy he just smiles.

They love dancing pretty bad and the like people being happy. They love stories with concept, vintage stuff, beautifulness, cute details, flowers and unplugged music. They love experiencing, travelling, they like any kind of dish in which they have to use sticks to eat, drinking beers with friends (Mahou)… They also like fish, Big Fish and Life of Pi. They love living life with a magic touch and seeing things from a different perspective.

This is their world, and their goal was pretty clear: giving a ticket for MOMOLAND to all their guests. The wedding had to be the party of love, full of surprises and where anything could happen. This project arrived to our offices and we wished sharing it with them even before we met them. By that time, Momoland didn’t exist, but we had the excitement to make it true.

We started searching venues in different cities. And, as we say in Spanish “if you search, you find”, so we found“Molino Tornero” a venue with a XV century style, full of charm and with a magic touch (close to El Escorial).

Once we had the venue selected, we started working on the invitation. Borja was in charge of the different designs.

The chicken-kid was Borja and the squirrel-girl was Leyre, they were the main characters of the uncommon XXL invitation. It gave some hints of what guests would experience on the wedding-day.

There was a personalized postcard from “the fairy godmothers of Momoland”. This postcard was created to confirm their guests’ assistance. We still remember how the postman brought letters coming from different countries (he brought them always with a big smile; I guess because he was aware about their content)

Welcome to Momoland

We welcomed the guests with a Passport to Momoland. There were different activities around the whole ranch; guests had to stamp their passports in every activity and they only could get access to this magic world if they participated in every activity.

Following fresh lemonade, the candles-ceremony started. We created a scene with paper lamps in a path full of trees. We also had a popcorns corner and there were seats with pillows on corn stalk bales. A chicken and a squirrel on a book and a candle with the luggage shape leaded the table for the ceremony.

Their reencounter in the ceremony was touching as their kiss at the end of it.

Friends and family read the wedding readings; they were emotional and full of anecdotes about their cute love story. All those anecdotes were told with great humour (we love that).

Later, activities started with the cocktail time; the woman from the future was a huge success! There was also the corner-time and the “book of complaints”also known as guests book, in which every guest had to fill up their file as “character from the world of Momoland”.

After the cocktail time, guests had to go to the upper side of the ranch. They had to walk through a path full of trees to get there. We already told you that in Momoland everything is possible, therefore leafs from the trees contained messages with beautiful quotes.

A bit further, we created a passage with balls of wool, an area with old sofas and a swing full of ivy where everybody could swing all night long. These were some of the photocalls where guests could pose.

Dishes were a fabulous mixture of cultures, and the presentation was created in detail within elephants, frogs and perfect plants for that world.

After having lunch, we put some baskets in every table. Inside those baskets there were alarm clocks and they all rang at the same time. In every clock there was a note “if I am ringing, you should go to the dance floor”. Borja and Leyre were waiting there; they were inside a circle done using popcorns , they were still as statutes. There was a music box song playing.

It was one of the most magic moments in Momoland and even more magic for Romeos y Julietas.

The nuptial dance with the sunset in the back was just perfect. They danced an amazing song! While they were dancing, they sang it…they love each other that much…and they were so happy!

We would lie if we did’nt admit that we cried with that beautiful scene.

The party was a change in the subject. We recreated an Arab scene where people could rest. It was full of carpets and Moroccan poufs with pillows. The stage was an amazing nomad tent crowned with a light-panel with the word “Momoland” in it. Everybody even the living beings, danced all night long.

Little by Little, the light was darker and the bulbs started getting more prominent, they created a warm atmosphere. Before the Arab dinner, we started giving sarees to every guest (typical Arab kerchief), and we explained them how to wear it. The last surprise started in that moment: a Bollywood dance!

We hired two professional dancers and they taught the choreography to all the guests. Some days before the wedding, Borja and Leyre practised this dance so they could also surprise their guests.nc At that point, we had to say goodbye, surrounded by lights and music.

Borja and Leyre are so enthusiastic about their world called Momoland that they passed it on to us from the very first moment.

Before getting to know them we felt such a big excitement about to make it real and helping them to create their magic world…but we were not aware that this magic world would catch us, and even some months later we still miss Momoland and we want to go back there. There is no doubt that we miss our “momos”.

It was a big pleasure sharing squirrels, chickens, wool balls, flowers, nice books, “red momoland” color, and invitations with guides, postcards received in the office for the “fairy godmothers”…and songs that even now move us.

We are pleased to introduce you Dai and Chus, a very nice couple, we really enjoyed planning their wedding.

The first requirement was it had to be next to the sea. It is a fact that on our coasts it is not easy to find places celebrate weddings by the sea.

But, like every story that knocks at our door, we had a new challenge.

Finding location was a big task, but we finally did it. Our destination was Jávea, a coastal town of the Valencian Community, which as I have already mentioned on other posts has spectacular coves and small bays.

There, we found a beautiful house. Every corner of “Cala Clemence” was amazing. Antique blue wooden doors, colonial style furniture, pots with succulents denoting sensitivity in the choice of each one, and of course the large balconies with incredible sea views.

The place was perfectly exciting. From the balcony we could see the beach which was just below, and in that wonderful place the ceremony took place.

It was time to choose the dress, so we pack our suitcase and went to Barcelona. We had the opportunity to know the atelier of designers that we admire, it was a pleasure. Dai decided on a YolanCris design, it was perfect for a beach wedding and she looked especially gorgeous.

Mint was Dai’s favorite color so it had an important role on decoration. I still remember when she came with her mint color bag and she said, Rosa, this is the color I want for my wedding.

Dai and Chus prepared a wedding with activities for the whole weekend, so we helped them to host all of their guests at nearby hotels.

For Friday night had prepared a welcome cocktail in Javea’s Port. Dai is from Argentina, and she was very excited to spend as much time as possible with her family and of course with all the guests who decided to be with them in this special occasion.

Saturday was the big day. As told, the civil ceremony took place in a small cove by the sea. For the ceremony, we placed a wooden arch with a light fabric and flowers, we did not want to miss the sea view. The rings were displayed on a mint clay plate with dyed sand, seaweed and natural wood. The cove where the ceremony was held, was of small stones, and even heels are very nice, we invited the guests with a wooden sign to leave their shoes, in order to be more comfortable. We also placed a corner with small glass containers filled up with crumbled lavender to throw after the Yes I do.

When night fell, the guests were on their way to the house. Everything was ready. The reception cocktail , prepared by Grupo El Alto, was a selection of different buffets, one of our favorites was the steak tartar one, delicious … !! We also created a little corner under a tree with shoes for the girls who wanted to get off their heels and some mint scarves to cover from the sea breeze.

There was no seating plan, that fact created a very relaxed atmosphere between family and friends.

The sweetest moment of the night came with the cake. We asked Cupcakes and Dreams to make it filled up with dulce de leche, in order to make a reference to our bride’s argentinian origins. It was a simple but beautiful mint colored cake, decorated with an incredible natural dahlia and a Srta. Cherry cake topper.

After dinner, live music, open bar and dancing under the moonlight.

But the weekend was not over. The day after, Dai and Chus prepared a catamaran trip, for all the guests who wanted to enjoy beautiful views, barbecue and beers on the sea.

Our Juliet is the sweet part of the couple and our Romeo is the passion for heavy music; both of them are one-of-a-kind. They live with Clyde, a wonderful Sausage Dog. According to Clara, Clyde is a very special dog, and they always celebrate his birthday with a huge party.

In order to talk about this cute couple, I need to talk about their job, their world.
They have the same interest: love and passion for animals.
We should not overlook this information because it explains the reason why we used some elements for their wedding. Preparing this wedding was a challenge and a pleasure because our team loves their profession and we really love animals.

After raining cats and dogs for a long time, the sun magically appeared. Guests arrived and we welcomed them with cold pink lemonade.

We like bending the protocol rules and we always hope that each wedding is the reflection from the wedding-couple.
The ceremony started and Pedro went in when a heavy song was played, there was no other way for him to enter into the ceremony place. Pedro was followed by the bridesmaids’ court (we love the American style). Following the bridesmaids the pageboys appeared with the co-star, Clyde.
Clara entered after this funny court. She was extremely beautiful wearing an amazing dress designed by Luis Rocamora.

Clyde sat in the first raw and he didn’t miss any detail. He looked so smart wearing his bow (he looked extremely cute). Clyde was the one who brought the rings to our Romeo and Juliet.

For the cocktail time, we prepared a Polaroid corner with old furniture and XXL balloons. People took their pictures and left their messages to the wedding couple. Signs like “Guau! Menudo bodón” or “Uy uy uy mi gato hace uy uy uy …” were part of the decoration.

Once the cocktail time was over, guests went into the dinner area (located next to the swimming pool). After a long path with candles, guests arrived to the reception (under a porch decorated with bulbs).

The seating plan was there. We created it by using wood and mini-frames.
Following the motto “find your breed”, each table was named with a different dogs and cats breeds. Catering Cinco prepared dinner. It is always a great pleasure to work hand in hand with them, and of course their dishes are so yummy.

We love pampering our Romeos and Juliets, but we also like when they are also surprised (guests are not the only ones to be surprised), therefore we decorated the head table with puppies and some signs in both couple-chairs.
Flowers followed the same style as the ones from the ceremony, so this way we kept the romantic and wild style loved by Clara.
We added a wood napkin ring with the silhouette of a Sausage dog. Wedding table names were decorated with small boxes filled with moss, and each table represented a different breed.
We left a CD for each guest. CDs had the different songs played during the wedding.
And with this beautiful wedding and this amazing couple, we finished the first part of the wedding-season 2015. We were as happy as a sandboy!

…And once again, our work confirms that love is endless and it doesn’t understand about differences; because, with Clara and Pedro, we learnt that unlike poles attract each other.
We became witness that passion for your work is one thing that can bond a couple together in incredible ways.

Some people say that human beings move through the emotion they feel towards other humans.
Could we set our sights in someone before meeting that person?

This is how our story with this Romeo and Juliet started: sitting on the winter terrace in a shopping center; surrounded by coffee cups and laughs.

José, so tall, so handsome and with two blue eyes that take someone’s breath away. Mariola, with her beautiful smile, her overwhelming personality and a natural gift: her charm captivates anyone.

Mariola and José arrived to our new office (it was one of the first visits we received). They walked in with an orchid in their hands and full of excitement. We had the first meeting and we put together the project we had planned for them.

The idea was to create a romantic ambience with an American touch by using XXL balloons, light colors with a maroon touch and adding fruits to the decoration.

Everything started with the invitation, it had the chorus of one of the songs from the music band “Los secretos”. Mariola requested to have an invitation with a lot of volume, that meant, she did not want to have just a card with an envelope; therefore we created a card with a red line indicating the wedding timeline followed by different small cards on a wood board.

Julie Vino and it was an spectacular wedding dress with silver beadings all over her body. It fitted her perfectly.

The decoration of the tables was made from grapes, figs, blackberries and red fruits. All these fruits were added to the flowers.

The ceremony, had an American touch since there was a poppy forge arch full of flowers (it was a key element for the ceremony). As a complement to the arch, we added a welcome corner so guests could take their oriental-style hand fans and their rice bags.
We added mini garlands with leaves and flowers in each chair.
After the touching ceremony and the sand ritual, Mariola and José got married.

The cocktail time took place in a garden facing Xátiva and the Mont Sant’s castle (where, some years before the wedding day, José asked Mariola to marry him). We love the weddings that take place in a special location for the wedding-couple.

Our “Polariod moment” corner was a total success! Adults and kids enjoyed the pictures and they wrote dedications to José and Mariola in the handmade-album that we prepared for this occassion.

When guests came into the wedding hall, they were highly surprised by the video of appreciation that was shown. This video was prepared by the wedding couple. Once the video finished, the music started and José and Mariola walked in; they looked so happy!

It was a very romantic soirée, full of candles, beautiful flowers and nice moments.
The top of the hall was decorated with small combinations of flowers and small glass bells with candles.

We always “pamper” the main table, therefore we added a wood panel with some quotes about happiness.

We also prepared the sweet corner with a beautiful cake from Cupcakes and dreams. The cake had a personalized cake topers.

Mariola and José are a beautiful couple inside and out.

You know when you meet a couple, and you truly believe that they will be always happy because they deserve it? So they are that kind of couple. One of those couples that will demonstrate that when there is love, everything is possible.
